The British Retail Consortium (BRC) has produced guidance on interpretation of requirements of the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety - Issue 6. The guideline discusses the principles behind each of the requirements clause-by-clause, assisting companies to effective implementation. Also included is a discussion on how to prepare for a BRC audit, what to expect during the audit and what actions are required following an audit and to maintain certification.
The Best Practice Guidelines series has been produced by the BRC to promote best practice and compliance with the BRC Standards. These Guidelines will help manufacturers and suppliers to adhere to the Standards and win or maintain business and will also help demonstrate the quality, safety and legality of their products.
