Exclusive exercises added to Pink Elephant's Foundation level course
18 April 2011
Pink Elephant has enhanced its ITIL® Foundations Course to include meaningful exercises which will provide delegates with valuable service management knowledge.
The new ITIL® Foundations Course introduces industry exclusive Attitude, Behavior and Culture (ABC) resistors which outline how to define problems relating to culture so that customers can understand how to successfully manage projects in their IT organization.
President of Pink Elephant David Ratcliffe said, "At Pink Elephant we have invested in an improved ITIL V3 classroom Foundation course that delivers much greater value to our customers. We want all our delegates, no matter what course they attend, to come away with some practical outcomes; to add value to their organization; and to help their organization reduce risks and costs through the application of efficient processes and practices."
Working in partnership with GamingWorks - the developers of 'ABC of IT' and the 'Apollo 13 ITSM Simulation Game', Pink Elephant aim to highlight the primary inhibitors to the successful application of ITIL ABC practices. By addressing these three key factors, students taking the new Foundations course can return to the workplace with a personal and practical action plan.
Ratcliffe concludes, "We understand the Foundation course is only the start of the ITIL journey, but Pink's classroom ITIL Foundation course is the best start you can give your employees to ensure that your investment in them isn't wasted. There is much more to adopting ITIL and implementing an ITSM culture, but unless you start addressing the ABC of IT then it will never get off the ground."
